Our Process
Local Sourcing
We take in trees, wood chips, and green waste from Utica, Syracuse, and Albany-area municipalities, tree services, landscapers, and our own S.R. Sloan, Inc. manufacturing facility—keeping it all out of landfills.
Fine-Tuning with Color
Using a finer screen, we re-grind with powdered natural dyes and water, ensuring deep, lasting color absorption. One final mix guarantees a uniform, vibrant finish landscapers love.
Grinding & Decomposing
We split logs, grind them with other green waste, and let it decompose naturally, adding nutrients that make your soil thrive—sustainability meets performance.
Ready for You
Pick up bulk mulch (minimum 3 yards) at our Utica facility at S.R. Sloan, Inc., or get it delivered up to 50 miles (minimum 50 yards)—perfect for jobs from Syracuse lawns to Albany parks.
